The College Board Opportunity’s Big Future Scholarship is a program that guides students through the process of applying for college and gives students a chance to earn scholarships for completing six key steps. This scholarship opportunity doesn’t require an essay, application, or minimum GPA and is available to all eligible applicants who complete the required college planning actions.

How does it work? Students earn entries into monthly drawings for $500 and $40,000 scholarships by completing steps to plan for college. The sooner you start and the more steps you complete, the more chances you’ll have to win. Every month, BigFuture selects two $40,000 winners and hundreds of $500 winners who complete one or more steps. This way, the College Board incentivizes students to plan early and utilize the critical pre-admissions tools to ensure they’re prepared and on top of their application journey, while also rewarding them as a bonus.

Six categories for scholarship drawings:

  • Build a College List
