The CTD (Center for Talent Development) at Northwestern University offers a broad range of online and in-person courses and experiences, including summer intensives, weekend accelerators, and year-round multi-week college-level (for-credit) courses across departments and disciplines for students ranging from elementary through 12th grade. The teen-geared courses are academically rigorous, but include high-quality instruction, interactive opportunities for students to communicate with global peers, and explore topics in depth to foster deep comprehension, a resume booster, and in some cases college credit.
Course subject matter areas available span the language arts to humanities, sciences, math, technology, engineering, service, soft skills like leadership, and more.
Offerings include:
- 1-day, live online explorations of unique topics
- 4-week courses with activities families can engage in together
- 6-week, live online Saturday or Sunday courses
- 9-week flexibly paced enrichment and core essentials courses
- Flexibly paced Honors and Advanced Placement courses for credit through CT
