Offering world-class training in acting and musical theatre, our programs provide students with a unique opportunity to live out their passion for performance at the center of all the action in Los Angeles and New York City!

Gap students can join AMDA’s community of performing artists for either 15 weeks in the Fall/Spring or 8 weeks in the Summer to experience the very best in performance education and prepare for a future performing arts-related education or career!

AMDA Gap Programs take students through a transformative performing arts training experience, unparalleled in the US. Students are enriched with meaningful exchanges with like-minded peers and receive valuable mentorship from industry professionals who offer wisdom and tricks of the trade. In addition to receiving world-class training, students explore their cities through weekly excursions and activities that include trips to Broadway shows, studio tours, landmark attractions, museums, and more.
